“Hello, everyone. This is a brief feedback to Diane, Board President, Collins Management, and neighbors. Today several workmen from Green Ventures Group worked below our pod. It was good to see them, a rare event previously, except for the very occasional topping of the bushes. For the last twenty years I do not recall the space below being cleared like this -except one time Bob Sieben brough some hired hands who removed some dead wood, but even then, not like this. I watched them carefully, these guys worked hard, not just walking around with a pad, they cleared a lot of the dead branches and leaves, which should satisfy the Oakland FD and make us compliant. For several years now, after having talked with our then fire safety committee chair, I have been trimming the bushes near our home and clearing the space as much as I can. It was nice to see this done today by the professionals that we pay, I was impressed -perhaps being new they were trying to impress us, but it was good to see them work so hard and efficiently, a good start, hopefully they will keep that up.”

“Wow! I just got home, and oh, my, what a great job Chepee did, and what a great pruning of the Crepe myrtle the guys did today. That is what a really good pruning job is, and it is so good for the tree. I want to thank you and Palmer and Chepee for helping me out. Your input was very important. You truly do get “stuff” done. “Your company has been with Heather Farms HOA now for 1 year. as many homeowners say, “the change from the last company is like day and night”. I must compliment your crew. They are hard working, pleasant and always look clean and are so polite. Cheppe as the foreman is always ready to please and leads the crew in their tasks with knowledge and respect for them. At last we are getting the bushes pruned, not hacked! Our areas are clean and leaves are removed from around the bushes so that nothing looks messy. The tree crew is doing such a good job. I see the shaping of the trees when pruned and know that when the leaves return the tree will look great. On behalf of the Heather Farms Homeowners Association, I wanted to let you know how pleased we are. We realize that we are a large association and have many challenges when it comes to our landscaping, and you meet these challenges each day and we look forward to having your company work for us for a long time. “A Big Shout Out on a job well done to our landscape maintenance crew, Green Ventures Group, as they have done a fantastic job cleaning and trimming our open spaces. Our landscaping has never looked better in all the years that I’ve lived here. We recently freshened up the sides of our entry and exit roads with new plantings and some color. Thanks to some homeowner’s donations and our landscape crew, we have daffodils on the side entrance to Altura Vista and on the Island of El Porton. I would also like to thank the crew for keeping a vigil eye on our water system during the past months with no rain. Enjoy our beautiful landscape, goose poop free trails, and our warm early spring.”

“The tree removal people showed up at 8:00 a.m. on Monday Morning and removed the Acacia tree from the commons area overhanging our back yard. We opened up the gate for them to have access to our back yard and they were done by about 10:00 a.m., including the grinding up of the branches and tree trunk. They did a great job, were efficient, friendly and diligent about the plants and other items in our back yard. We took pictures and observed much of the tree removal. Our back yard is now opened up and the nearby redwood tree, which growth was impacted by the Acacia tree, should now have an opportunity to replenish itself. Thank you for facilitating this matter and thanks to the Board for their approval.”
